On my last visit I was told that if I purchase a drink and then pour it into my own cup, I would be charged EXTRA. WTF? That was the last time I visit.

First the good: The coffee is decent. Not great, but better than average (Vanilla Latte), The decor and feel of the place had me thinking I had found a new coffee shop, until I noted a few other things on BOTH of the visits there ( I usually give second chances.) The counter guys (Same guys both times) both seemed like they would very much rather be working construction or something else, and they probably should. They never looked me in the eye, never greeted me, and seemed entirely unconcerned with anything to do with me. I am not hard to please, simply not looking like you would rather be anywhere else than serving me coffee would be enough. One other thing, turn down the music. You can't even have a conversation. (Yes, I asked them-and no, they did not.) I suppose I should have been grateful for the loud music, because the next time I came in it was sports radio. They are the only coffee shop in Green Cove, but I will either just go to McD's or will go to Fleming Island Starbucks. And If I want a really cool coffee experience where the staff appear to actually not be disgusted to be serving coffee I will go to Bold Bean in Riverside. Now that is everything that SPC COULD have been. Oh, and the coffee is better too.

Great place. Locally owned and operated. I had The Mexican and a bagel sandwich. Both were very good. Nice atmosphere, can't wait to go back.

I loved this place! Nice staff, excellent drink selections, free wifi, plenty of places to sit, great atmosphere. Fair prices and upsizing deals.I'm definitely sad I won't be able to visit here anymore since recently moving to NC. It will be hard to replace, I'm sure!

Reminds me of my favorite neighborhood coffee shop back home! Love love love this place. The only reason to fight the camera lights in GCS!

Great local coffee shop! Super friendly employees and great atmosphere. Only downside not a lot of vegan options other than soy and almond milk. It'd be nice to see some kind of vegan bakery good and/or vegan breakfast sandwich. I understand Green Cove Springs isn't the capital of vegan friendly restaurants, but it'd be interesting to have Spring Park Coffee be the "flag ship".

Best place for a good coffee, everybody is very friendly and anything they have is fresh and perfect. We just work down the road and get coffee every week ! We stopped going to the big coffee place in Fleming Island, this place is just so much better ! Even their Ice-cream is delicious !

This place is totally buzzworthy! Get it? The caffeine gets your day going and definitely worth talking about to get your friends and fellow yelpers to support this awesome indie coffee place!! The menu has tons of speciality coffee drinks and I asked them their recommendations. I ended up with the sweet and salty. A mix of espresso, dark chocolate, and caramel. Delicious!!! Rich espresso taste made sweet with two of the most heavenly flavors. The ambiance is way cute. Mix and match antique furniture, chalkboard menus, many comfortable places to sit with friends or enjoy your coffee solo. Too bad my name wasn't Theresa on my last trip through Jacksonville. I could have gotten a free coffee! I'm assuming they change the name regularly on the board on the side of the road which is pretty funny and must get traffic to do a double take. Hopefully it brings someone in that might otherwise get their buzz on at the mainstream coffee places in the area. Go local!

This place is cool..I mean really cool. I'm relieved to have a local coffee joint near where I live. As much as I frequent chains, I'm a sucker for a little hipster hole in the wall. Spring Park is located in the heart of Green Cove. My boyfriend and I visited this morning and were pleasantly surprised. The staff is competent and friendly. There is plenty of seating and a good amount of patrons in the coffeehouse, providing a great people-watching experience. Chalk signs touting local coffee brews and flavors of the day adorn the walls. I love the eclectic wooden furniture and flowered table settings! The menu is fabulous! They offer the usual lattes and coffee but also have a huge "specialty" menu board. My boy and I tried both the "Butterbeer" and the "Field of Dreams" lattes. They were smooth, rich, and satisfying. Better yet, prices are on point. Bottom line: visit Spring Park for an authentic and tasty coffee experience!

Great coffee house with a super edgy hipster feel and an effortlessly cool urban bohemian look right in the heart of Clay county. The service here is outstanding with a very knowledgeable staff who truly know how to make a bold cup of Joe and make you feel right at home. Who else offers a free cup of coffee for the day if your name happens to be ________?!? (Check their FB page) Although my name wasn't Natalie, I still decided to give it a try. Wow. My cappuccino was made to perfection and I loved their cold brewed Toddy made with room temperature H2O to extract the perfect amount of oils, flavors and nutrients from the coffee bean. This is a must try. The coffee base is dripped through this smart glass contraption called the Toddy that is strategically displayed for all to see. They even have a take-home version you can purchase for yourself at a reasonable price. The owner and staff are local guys and they have managed to open up an much needed establishment that would seem better suited in the 5 Points & Riverside area of Jacksonville. But lucky for GCS, they opened up there. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting with plenty of old school furniture to get comfy in and settle down with your beverage and snack. They have huge chalkboard walls full of some really creative offerings plus have events to bring in the community. The prices are very reasonable and they offer a full menu of coffee, smoothies, sodas, teas, fresh baked pastries, food and much more! This place is definitely ahead of its time considering its location, quality of products and business practices. If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods, I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out no matter what time of day. I would really love to see them open one up in Murray Hill. But until then, the locals should be pretty stoked to have this priceless little gem in their sleepy little town. 5 STARS!

Love their coffee! And it's such a kid friendly atmosphere here, with plenty of drinks my daughter can have! Definitely coming back soon!

Been here many times. Really enjoy the atmosphere here. I would consider this place a hidden GEM. I'm sure the actual locals love this place. Tried the rasin muffin today, it was dry but first time I've had something I wasnt impressed with.

I didn't realize it had been so long since I reviewed SPC! This place has cultivated a very loyal following (rightly so). When I first started visiting, it would be close to empty most of the times I stopped in. Lately, it's always full! They have greatly expanded their menu (homemade bakery items, breakfast sandwiches, lemonade, and of course, more coffee drinks!). They also use square for credit card transactions now so I love being able to get my receipt emailed to me. They often have in local authors for book signings and they do a lot of open mic nights which seem to be popular with HS aged kids in GC. A must visit if you're nearby!
